What's new?

Please take note that some changes have been made to the program and that they apply to all new requests received since December 8, 2010.

  • Technoclimat®

now contains a second component that targets trial implementation activities for technologies created in the province of Québec whose development is complete. The range of clients eligible for this component has been broadened to include “any legally constituted organization, enterprise or association that is established in Québec that wishes to use or market a proven GHG emission reduction technology that has weak market presence or no market presence in Québec”. Financial assistance can attain 50% of eligible expenses or a maximum of $1M per project.
  • Financial assistance, the program’s main component, can now attain 50% of eligible expenses regardless of the size of the project. The maximum amount of assistance remains at $3M per project.
  • Costs incurred by the applicant may now be eligible from the date the request is received by the Department. The project must be accepted and the costs incurred must be recognized as eligible expenses by the Department within the scope of the agreement entered into with the applicant.

The Application for financial assistance form and the Detailed guide for applicants have been updated. These documents are available in the Publications and forms section and are provided in French.
