Here is a list of the different amounts that can be granted by the Department within the scope of the Energy innovation assistance program (PAIE) based on the type of activity that is produced.
One project may receive financial assistance for separate activities. The maximum amount of financial assistance granted for one project cannot exceed $1M.

The financial assistance amounts granted by the Department can be combined with a grant from another governmental agency with the exception of the financial assistance received within the scope of the Technoclimat program spearheaded by the Department . The Department will make sure that the applicant invests at least 25% of the eligible project costs (with the exception of measurement activities).
The Department cannot accept more than one project per fiscal year from the same applicant except for projects involving solely research, experimentation, development, upgrade or transfer activities.
What is more, the costs incurred by the applicant prior to the receipt of the request by the Department are not eligible.
