Novoclimat Groupe Sélect
Believing in the importance of providing their clients with energy efficient homes that offer superior comfort and energy savings, many companies have joined the Novoclimat program. They have decided to build certified houses and buildings.
These member companies have made the following commitments to consumers and to the Department:
- to comply with the stringent requirements of the Novoclimat program so as to improve the energy efficiency and comfort of the homes they build;
- to maintain an average Novoclimat registration rate of 90% or more of all the houses they sell each year within the province of Québec;
- to provide their personnel with complete technical training as regards the construction of energy efficient homes;
- to submit their building techniques to the scrutiny of Department specialists so as to evaluate their energy performance;
- to submit the completed homes to a process of verification, inspection and certification. These companies will thereby authorize the Department to carry out full quality control by allowing the Department to easily carry out all necessary verifications on building sites and in manufacturing plants.
